-We offer a ‘delivery’ service for those who prefer training in the comfort of their home or apartment gym. Additionally, clients can attend sessions at a gym located in Belltown, Seattle.
My name is Isaiah Walter, and I am the Founder, CEO, and Lead Trainer of Vigorous. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) with a B.S. in Physical Education. I specialize in functional training, strength training, injury prevention, sports performance training, and mobility training. I also construct workout programs that are customized per individual.
I’ve worked with people with all fitness backgrounds, and currently have clients in the age range of 13-76 and helped them safely and effectively achieve their goals. Additionally, as a former D1 Collegiate football player, I am passionate about working with post injury-athletes and healthy athletes on recovery and optimizing their sports performance. I have a lot of experience working with Injured/post injury clients, seniors, and injured athletes; therefore, and strive to help people rebuild strength, confidence.

My Philosophy is that a fitness program is very subjective. All styles of fitness training have benefits, and no style is better than the other, from Power Lifting, Bodybuilding, Crossfit, to Calisthenics. Your style of training should be determined based on your goals, experience, and physical ability.I firmly believe that there is a fitness training program for every individual, no matter the injury, age, size, shape, or experience. Anybody can achieve progress towards physical health with effort and intention. A major goal for everyone who is starting their fitness journey regardless of their training style is overall health and fitness. For optimal overall health and fitness one should try to practice:

A key part of this journey is learning how to connect the mind and body, which is something that I constantly preach and work on with my clients.
